Welcome to the MSCST forum
Welcome to MSCST!The Muskegon Summer Challenge Salmon Tournament welcomes you to our forum and website. Our goal is to have fun and fish and compete with each other. With that in mind this year we will be running 7 events. With the changes we are now only counting your best 5 events towards the Port Championship so if you miss a event it will not prevent you from having a chance at the Port Championship. 2015 ChangesBoundariesNew for 2015 will be a boundaries rule the south boundary will be 043.00.000. This is South of Grand Haven and north of the water treatment intake. The north boundary will be 043.30.000. Which is a couple miles north of Whitehall. The purpose of this is to keep it a Muskegon event using the north and south lines lets you fish from Grand haven to Whiehall with some extra room and clear easy lines to follow. Captains fee With more sponsors we no longer need to charge a captains fee to help with expenses. So the 10 dollar per boat entry fee is now waived. Launch rulesThe Grand Trunk boat launch is a public launch not a slip. The city of Muskegon has been very helpfull in allowing us to run our events. This has been discussed several times in the past now it is a written rule you may not use the launch as a slip. It is your responsibility to take care of your boat and be on time.
