Spam blockers
« on: December 04, 2011, 01:10:00 PM »
We are getting a lot of blocked members which are rejected so if you are one of those it is because either your IP or email address is on one of the spammer lists or your using a proxy that is on the list which will flag and block you. So if your getting blocked and not a spammer you may need to find out who else is or has used your IP or email and see about changing it. One nice thing here is since I put in the multi layer spam protection we have not been spammed and have blocked nearly 1300 spam attempts so far this year. Also for those spammers out there even if you manage to get in you won't be here long and your info will go into the honey pot which is linked to thousands of sites so your stay will be short. This is a fishing website and a place for friends to share info we don't need or want porn or viagra ad's or whatever else you think we might need. We can find plenty of that on our own even when we are not looking for it so it won't be here.

Hard to believe how many people are trying to spam  this site which has very little traffic. We have around 90 members and over 4500 blocked spammers.
