<p>Fertilizer runoff from seasonal heavy rainfall on Midwestern farms is traveling down the Mississippi River and creating a ?hypoxic zone,? or low oxygen zone in the Gulf of Mexico, a recent study by Iowa State University scientists warns.</p>
